Pozo Azul Waterfall

Located approximately 25km from El Valle de Anton, this waterfall is one of the most popular in the area. This is due to its crystal clear blue waters and enchanting surroundings. Pozo azul, also known as Las Pailas Waterfall, is located in the community of La Vieja, in the center of Coclé. It is advisable to visit with a tour operator since it is not easy to get to the jet due to the lack of signage and the conditions of the road.

The place is maintained by a group of neighbors of the area, who are in charge of charging the entrance fee of B/. 1.00

Tips and suggestions:

• It is advisable not to go during rainy days due to the poor condition of the road and the rising rivers. To avoid the rains, it is best to visit between January and March.
• We recommend bringing water, snack, towel and a change of clothes. It is preferable to wear closed shoes.

Location:

You must get to the community of Pozo Azul. Once there, you will pass by a school that bears the same name and a mini supermarket. There you must take a right on the dirt and stone road and drive until you find a cyclone fence and a sign that says Private Property. There they can park and go down the cement stairs until they reach the well.
