Mercado Municipal

Located just on the Main Avenue, the Municipal Market is a popular attraction, both for the inhabitants of El Valle, as well as for residents of surrounding regions and foreign tourists. Here you can find a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, plants and typical sweets, all at very moderate prices. Additionally, in the market you can find stalls with many types of local handicrafts, such as small sculptures made from volcanic stone, wooden trays, woven baskets, typical Panamanian hats, mola work and costume jewelry.
